2 problems - Firstly Microcat mentions hot climate boost pipes are a different part number from the standard, so these seals may only be applicable to hot climate. Second issue is that you've gone for a non-genuine part so it may just be that a Genuine Part comes with them. For example, D3/D4 steering track rod ends in genuine form come with everything, but an OEM Delphi kit does not. Microcat isn't showing these seals directly - for an M57 engine L322.

Not really an issue in $ terms. Yes I have to faff around and find a seal, but I saved over $800 going the way I did. The part I got is German made, and very high quality - at £100 I think it was a bargain. I was quoted well over $1000 for the genuine article. Just have to find a pesky seal... ![]() |

Thanks Adrian, I'll be checking that out on Monday. There is a bright side to having it parked up at the moment - SWMBO is riding her motor bike to work ATM, so it is saving us a bundle on fuel. ![]() |
