I have the chromey-style extra bulb (2006 Vogue) but testing it when stationary (headlights on auto, indicator on, wheel turned) it doesn't light up.

Am I trying something wrongly or maybe the bulb has just blown?

You are referring to the bulb next to the side light bulb?

It makes no difference if the indicator is on or not. It is operated by speed up to about 25mph(ish) and a degree of steering input, mine operates when stationary.

No error messages - would it error for a blown bulb?

Yes, I thought it operated up to 25mph but that you could test it when stationary by putting the indicator on and turning the wheel?

If not I'll have to rig up the Venture Cam to look at the lights while I drive round the street!

Do your headlamps move when negotiating bends? Following the bend itself? (at night)

I can't say that I had noticed that they do - it was only through reading this thread that made me wonder?

Hmm - maybe not! Slightly confused though, as somewhere in this thread it says post-2005 do have them, and I do have the chrome additional bulbs in the sidelights???

If you have the chrome additional bulbs as you call them then you don't have adaptive lights - there is a real bulb in that slot if the adaptive lights are fitted..... Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather.....

It's pot luck if your adaptive lights work from factory on 05/06 cars... We look after around 25 Vogue SE's and only about half of them work from factory... No rime nor reason as to why they work or not... Mine don't on my 55 reg SC but another forum members 05 reg SC does... Annoying!!!!

Craig Thumbs Up
