That looks suspiciously like a body control module manufactured by a company called Lear. With the EEDS tag I would venture this board was made in Spain? These modules are usually locked and cannot be re programed, although it may be possible to get a reader and program a Transponder chip to one match one of the existing key slots locked into its memory. Occasionally you see a used one of these units being sold on eBay etc, do not buy as they are VIN locked and cannot be programed to a different vehicle. new units are available for around £80 - £100 but must be factory coded to the vehicles VIN by the dealer, or so I'm told.

My Range Rover is also 2006 and likely to have one of these fitted, so hope someone can read these and program an ID44 or ID46 chip match?

Transponders are not the issue for me, I have three functional ones. For me the door opening and locking doesn't work with the two flip keys I got on Ebay, despite the fact that i have the correct frequency (or should have considering the car is a NAS and so are the keys). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Ah, then you are in a better position than I! Are you sure it's the keys are the problem and not the cars receiver. Should've been old enough to know better...doh!

Ok, just a quick up date on the key's, will be placing order this weekend, was waiting for confermation that the word Range rover would be embossed in to the new style keys, but it still has not happened yet so the will be blank as in the picture., shame as it would've been a nice extra. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Hi Dave, I just sent you a PM on our discussion related to the keys. If the ones you are ordering can work with the central locking on mine (blade and transponder I have already sorted), than I would like to have one as well.

Cheers,
