front suspension arms movement.

How much rotation movement should be on the front suspension arms ? Of the two, I mean the one at the rear of the front two arms. It's curved in shape as opposed to the other which is straight. I can quite easily twist it a few degrees each way with my hand. I'm hunting for a knocking from my front end BTW. Does it sound like I need new bushes?

Many thanks . MY2010 TDV8 Vogue Ipanema Sand

I just replaced the bushings in mine as I could move them more than a few degrees. With the new bushings I could still move them a few degrees, but now with firm resistance, not the old, "washy", feeling. ----------
