What do people find best for keeping their arches clean and shiney . I find i never really bother with them when cleaning the car apart from running a hose around inside of them. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

If it is the black plastic wheelarch liners, then Autoglym Rubber and Bumper Care works well. It's a green gel.

If you're feeling lazy, use any good liquid tyre shine spray.

If you're feeling very lazy, then don't bother, make yourself a cup of tea or filter coffee and admire the effort that you've (presumably) put into the paint / tyres / blackwork on the outside of your RR beforehand. Si. <This is my name.

A bigger problem is the grey ( should be black) trim under the windscreen  Geoff

I use some Poorboys stuff but it only lasts a week or so but it does finish off the monthly wash enabling me to chuck in the sponge with a clear conscience, stand back and admire  Geoff

No I get them Jet Washed then use a soft brush with Turtle Wax tyre black cream (Red Bottle) it goes a long way and last for ages as it reacts with the plastic/rubber

G Techniq C4 'Permanent Trim Restorer':

I bought this a long time ago after reading about in on 'Detailing World' Forum. I first used it last week on this piece of plastic and on the front number plate surround plastic on the RR. It is liquid and you dab it on (from bottle) to small circular cotton make up type pads and it did easily come up as new. Very consistent looking finish.

If you google it you will see online suppliers. It is very expensive for a small amount (£20 odd pounds for a small bottle but it will go a long way). One online description is as follows:

A top tip for any black plastic is a cloth with some oil on then just rub lightly all the black bits even the window frames and see

Got corrosion on my rear arches. Need to get it sorted on the next UK trip or bite the bullet and pay millions of Swiss Francs.
