Good choice really.

I am like you a sport cars fan, but rather than buying one, I do rent (or borrow) them and enjoy them to the fullest, most of the time on tracks.

This way I do not have to worry about servicing it, modifying it and can enjoy very different vehicles year round, anywhere in the world.

I know you could do this with the Aston, renting it (them) for the weekend. And if you have a bleu-eyed one, you can rent it several time a year.

This is not cheap per say, but once you are driving it, you soon forget about it (and this is cheaper than buying, running, servicing, storing your own...)

Would you have pics of it, including it back and sides to see how it was done?

I will definitely go back to a sports car again, I do miss my 911, but I'm going to try and do it when I'm in a position to keep the Range as well. A Range and a DB9 is pretty much the perfect garage for me.

There is a pic of the parcel shelf in this thread verydisco - although not the sides etc (which I've covered in anti squeak tape as the vinyl rubbed on the plastic and drove me insane)!

It was done for me by the dealer I bought the car from as the original shelf was missing. They used a professional local trimmer.

If I remember I'll try and take some pics over the weekend and upload them.

I can get the details for you if you're interested. It'll be somewhere in Sussex towards Brighton I'm guessing based on where the car came from... Past (too many to list, but a few favs)...

Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Was going to post up pics etc of my car but came across this and it seems I am the new owner of above car so saves me doing it, car still looks the same and it seems the work Joe put into it has made it a good buy for me, can't fault it at all
