Iv had a quick search but cant find what I'm after, anyways i may have mentioned a couple of times that im taking a road trip to the south of france in august, trouble is i don't want to drive that far with no spare, and as i have an lpg tank there, i need to put it some where.

Yea that's the plan, got a little sprog, so got a lot to take, travel cot pushchair etc, plus camping stuff, and enought kit for 2 weeks etc.

For me, plan A would be a dog guard, then pile the boot to the roof.

If you have a tow bar, I guess you could try to fabricate something like this -

Hmm, that's an idea I suppose, and a mate has a roof rail system and a roof box for a l322, so that would be free.
