Used key recode

Anyone know if its possible to recode a used key? I've seen a couple on eBay and thought I may be able to get a new blade and recode the remote/ transponder ?

I had a search and couldn't find anything for the flip key. Any ideas? Very Happy My Previous RR's!

Good question, I currently have a damaged spare key but the blade is ok. I have no transponder of chip and will be getting a new key ASAP, cheapest quote for cutting and coding so far is £150 which to be fair isn't that bad?
