I did it on a snow covered beach at Lake Tahoe on Christmas Morning 1995. All went well but on reflection, years later, I should have bought a much bigger Diamond. I think I was hedging my bets....

She should've been happy with the holiday to Lake Tahoe and not moan about the ring!

Can't imagine I ever would, but if I did it wouldn't be one of those public ones. They can go wrong.

Spent the ring budget on my first Range Rover so she had to do with a microscopic diamond and a weekend away. She still lays claim to that first range being hers ... Or what's left of it after we "adapted" it for the Rhino Charge  African Bush Junkie ... in London!
