Trying to chase a particularly annoying rattle and decided that it must be somewhere behine the lower glovebox..... this is mainly because it isn't in the seat, door panel or centre console all of which have been apart

Unfortunatley, I think I may have found it as when I was undoing the screws from the panel underneath out dropped a metal clip... closely followed by the wire for the glovebox latch. so now I cannot get that back on and cannot open the glovebox which would allow me to remove the latch.
