Strangely Tempted

As something for my offroading while the FF awaits its repairs and then let the citroen go to free up more funds and then i can use this for the coast2coast next month if i could get it MOT'd in time as it doesn't look too bad really for the money!

Does anyone know much about them at all??

How is the FFRR coming along anyway ???

I had a friend with one of these and that one was far less reliable than a FFRR Smile MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

The FF fuel pump is on my bench in the garage at the moment as now the Citroen is near enough sorted and jsut needs a wash i had the weekend off and a few days this week doing Sweet FA car related or brothers house related and just playing battlefield 3 to chill a bit Smile Then i'll look at the lines for that fuel pump, reseal it and then stick it back in the tank with some fresh diesel and see if it balances correctly, then move onto the HP side if its still a PITA.

The IHU is still blank though but i go out every few days to boost the pressure in the air tank and its barely dropping now but im convinced when the pressure is lower it loses more for some reason!

Had to return the Tax on it last week as its not insured whilst its being worked on the current laws mean i can have a car MOT'd but can not have it taxed and sat on a drive without insurance even though the thng cant be bloody moved without a tank to drag it off the drive at the moment! FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Why not take the money that you would have otherwise spent on the Lada and buy a new pump assembly ? MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

I would put every effort into getting the FFRR on the road. Spend the £500 on getting an Indy to do 10 Hours to get it running sweetly again. Idea

Point proven i guess Smile

The problem with the pump assembly(in tank) is that once i took it out and cleaned the diesel crud that was on it so its as new now, but just need to mount it all back in the tank which is a polova as the balancing unit requires some arm contortion around the tank hump Sad FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

+1

That Lada has no tax, MOT or history - it doesn't sound like a project is what you need right now.....
