I'm going to replace the FSR (again!) and with this being such a problematical part is it wise to go for a genuine LR part, or has anyone used the much cheaper replacement/copy versions without having any issues?

Genuine part is cheap enough. I wouldn't bother trying anything else |

Thanks Johnte - that was my thinking. Prices seem to range from as cheap as £18 for copies, up to £50 for the genuine, but I guess it's a case of you get what you pay for. |

The one I fitted wasn't the same as the one I replaced. I'm not sure if it was original and the design changed or aftermarket. Think I'd prefer a better design than original if one exists. |

On my third one (having paid + £30 each for the previous 2), put in a £16 eBay cheapy, working fine (oh, bought a spare one as backup |
