It was all in the setting it down gently.

There are clips from others where they have had the same issue and came in just a bit too hard and the plane couldnt take it, breaking it into bits and it aint nice Sad

One i recall seeing on tv had one landing gear set not deploy.
The pilot chanced it and tried it on two sets of gear and the wing without just dug in Sad the rest was not pretty!

another ran out of juice many miles from the nearest strip and they had to use a sliding technique, a bit similair to drifting, to kill off some speed without them dropping like a stone. It takes some balls to and real skill to fly a few 100tonne of metal as if it were a glider for a big distance Confused but the pilot did extremely well, just like the one near JFK who landed in the river. text book landings without airports!

Its all in the training... But it was a very good landing and I wouldn't be surprised to see that aircraft flying again! 06MY 4.4 V8 Autobiography Cairns Blue with Navy & Parchment Interior

The secondary hydraulic system circuit breaker was in the off position....... There was a leak in the primary system.

They lifted it with a crane, engaged the breaker for te secondary system and lowered the gear......

Excellent landing, but DOH!! Could have put it on the deck with the wheels down by the sound of it. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

At least that, but do you know the engineering that goes into them?
