Today the Land Rover UK has delivered the greatest ever monthly volume in the company's history. The market's previous record from 2006 of 10,674 units has been eclipsed. Today we have delivered over 11,000 units for the month of March.

The scale of this achievement is quite remarkable

LR has delivered almost 3% of the total cars registered – 1 in every 35 cars retailed in the UK in March was a Land Rover.

LR have delivered 35% of the Off Road sector - a new Land Rover was registered every 80 seconds during the month.

See now why there are no discounts around  Currently running FFRR MY10 TDV8 3.6L and a Disco 3 XS Commercial (tank like but very effective as a Company van). Was it people rushing to beat the new "showroom tax" that's came in on the 1st April?

Not sure, But I think that adds about 1k to the price of a RR. (or just about any LR as they're nearly all high emission vehicles)

Either way it will be interesting to see if the sales continue at a good level, or it was a peak to beat the tax increase.
