I phone bluetooth pairing/unpairing

Hi all due to my recent issues with trying to pair my new I phone 5 to my RR without much luck (see previous topic) someone has said to me that if the old ?broken phone is still paired i would need to unpair this first then try again to pair the 2 new i phones. does anyone know how to do this as the old I phone died and cannot be switched on again. When i try to pair up now I can switch on the pairing in the car and the bluetooth, the phone finds the car, put in the pairing code, and it connects then as soon as it has done this it unpairs again the same on both the I phone 4 of my wife's and My I phone 5

thanks again for everyones help so far

got my iphone 5 yesterday - pairs and then says not connected. Just took the keys out the car, put them back in and put to first position. phone found and all fine.........

You should not have to erase old phones, the ulf will keep pairing and removing the oldest 4th phone from memory.

If you want to delete all phones, press pairing button for more than 10 seconds........... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
