Spent the last two evenings detailing the SC in readiness for putting on the new wheels tomorrow.

1. Washed with Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo, lambswool mitt and the 3 bucket system
2. Used the new G3 clay mitt, panel by panel
3. Meguiars Ultimate Compound
4. Meguiars Ultimate Polish
5. Meguiars Ultimate Wax
6. AG Plastic and rubber care
7. AG Fast Glass
8. Autosol Metal polish on the SC pipes

Tomorrow:

New wheels with 4 new tyres and all new wheel nuts

I have to say, I think this is the absolute best finish I have EVER managed on a car in my 22 years of obsessive cleaning. Considering it's black, had swirl marks, oxidation, bloom, road tar...the results are just stunning. I can't wait to get the new wheels on and see the effect of the whole picture.

I'll post some pictures tomorrow when it's all done.

My God, I feel like a kid at Christmas, I am SO pleased with how this looks, all the photos I've taken don't really show the lovely deep metallic Anthracite, they sort of look black, but in the flesh...WOW

Brand new rubber mounted on them too. Now to give them a coat of polish and then Poorboys Wheel sealant.
