I'm looking to upgrade one of our P38 Range Rovers to a L322. I'm looking for something around 2003 - 2005 sort of vintage. Preferably the V8 Petrol rather then the Diesel. Vogue spec would be nice too.

I'm looking for a car that I can tow a trailer with, take some animals to market, use for lugging the dogs around etc so I'm not looking for an immaculate car but would like one that's presentable. I don't mind if it doesn't come with a towbar as I'm happy enough to fit one.

I also don't mind one that needs mechanical repairs if the price is right.

Anyone got one they're looking to part with? Would rather have one that's come from a known source instead of an eBay car if there's one around.

Well, if your casting your net as far as Malaysia, you should have a good selection to choose from.

Have seen that one on eBay. It's been there for a good few weeks I think.

I don't know what others think but I actually thought that was expensive for what it is...

It's done 158k miles, doesn't run at all and he mentions that he thinks its a timing chain issue which means an engine rebuild. It's got no tax or mot either I don't think.

I can't see that being worth much more then 6500 - 7000 even when sorted and it could end up costing more then the difference to put it right depending on what else is wrong with it at that age/mileage.

Its a good point to bring the price right down though being sat for a while and needing more work done to it.

If its the chain then yes an engine is the answer but sensors do all sorts of wonderful things as you well know  FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
Mantec Sump Guard, Rigid Load liner, MY10 BT upgrade.
