Allard EGR Removal, Replacement kit

After searching and reading all the threads on the ERG removal, I decided to tack mine off and look how much grime was in there, I was shocked how much the was have got 40k on the clock,have cleaned it out and I've ordered the removal kit.

its surprising how all that carbon gets in there...some members have cleaned it and refitted but its best to get rid and blank it.. ... - .- -.

Hi Smithy
I would also recommend you whip the manifold off and give it a good clean. Mine had a 5mm layer of soot inside. Beware you and everything around will get absolutely filthy. My car started blowing horrendous clouds of smoke under throttle till I cleaned the manifold.
I used engine cleaner. petrol and hot soapy water with a good supply of scrubbing brushes. Yes I know I shouldn't use petrol for cleaning but sometimes you just have to do what you have to do. Whistle
