The L322 has loads of useful crannies like this. I think they’ve missed a trick with this sort of thing on the L405 and I’m going to miss them when I move on to the new model in a few weeks…

Well, have got the L405 now and I stand corrected...even better thought-out spaces for storage, much more practical and useful. Though we have lost the under floor cubby, there is lots of space around the spare wheel; in the cabin, lots of useful storage areas - especially the front door “cabin” arm rests are very handy and quite big. The only thing I would still add is toggles around the edge of that still-existing right hand load area recess, but I have found that the long bungee cords are still very useful – L405 has the same load space layout of four heavy duty big chromed D rings. Norman

I think my mind is thinking of other things.... I just read your post quickly and thought that sounds good, a bottle of Jack in the boot cubby is a good idea! Rolling with laughter 2003 Range Rover HSE 3.0 TD6

Mine is soon to have a second battery fitted in that space. It is perfectly positioned for a short wire run up to the 100amp perm live to the rear fuse box. Thumbs Up

Got my battery ready to go in this and just ordered this kit from Oz:

I know there is nothing on that page. There is a great thread on an Australian forum about fitting this with pics'. Not sure about the linking rules on here to other forums so if you search for dt90-l322 you should find it. Great step by step instructions. Current: RR L322 2010
