My RSE remote control starts ok and has all the messages coming up onto the remote control screen (it is the MY11 touch screen model) but it seems like it doesn't send out any signal as the TV screens are not responding to any command. The RSE works ok by controlling it from the front screen but not via the remote control.
Anyone else had this problem? My car is at the local dealer since Wednesday for a yearly service but I haven't got the car back since they are still looking at the problem!

Can you lock out the remote hand set on the front touch screen ? You can on my ( older ) RSE . 2008 MY Supercharged

Yes I can, the remote is unlocked but still doesn't work.

On my 07MY the remote wont work if the front screen is in the RSE Supervisor screen .... spent ages trying to solve that one, even removed and reinstalled the RSE module from boot then by accident found out why it wasnt working.

Thanks guys, need to try that one out. I suppose the dealer must know that but he has the car since Thursday, will give him a call today and go tomorrow to check.

Car still at the dealer's (it's been a week), they can't find the cause of the remote not working. So are in contact with LR France in Paris who give instructions on a regular basis which tests to make. My patience is showing its limits and thinking of getting the car back, my kid is too young to use the remote at 11 months old anyway! TV screens work operating from the front screen. Bizarre problem!

They have had so many issues with these remotes that is I am assuming why they scrapped them. The docks warp and prevent them for charging properly. Mine had to be replaced and the dealer managed to corrupt the whole RSE system during diagnostics. It was then on back order for 4 weeks...

Why make such apparently complicated parts if they don't know how to fix them?!

That's a good one! They used another remote to check and it didn't work either so clearly the problem doesn't lie with the remote.
Yes I've seen the new L405 has just a normal back plastic TV remote, the one in the MY11 onwards L322 looks really nice though, metal and touchscreen and has a kind of Bang&Olufsen quality feel to it... or rather feel and no quality.

Just a little update, car has been in at the dealer for two weeks, JLR France has sent a new module or whatever they call it, remote still doesn't work, they are sending a Land Rover technician to look at the problem.
