Best way to access it is to remove the front bumper, sounds like a big job but it really isn't, it's held on by about 10 screws. Discovery 4 HSE

I took the LR workshop manual route of removing the passenger front side wheel arch liner - which was easy! The two bolts which hold the washer bottle in place face the wheel anyway.
