Australia 2004 Range Rover HSE Td6 Zermatt Silver

Hello everyone

I am new to the site and have owned my 2004 L322 TD6 HSE for a couple of years now. Love the car and will be looking at the possibility of performing a 2012 facelift down here in Australia. I am pretty sure no one has done this to my knowledge in Australia and this site has a wealth of information and great members. Looking forward to any help.

Cheers

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Java Black

Hello Everyone

I have just changed my TDV8 RRS for a 2006 FF TDV8 Vogue; a different feel to the vehicle but I already much prefer the full size Daddy. 2006 TDV8 Vogue, Java Black

Scotland 2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Barolo Black

Hi All

First post here having been a member of the RRS forum for a couple of years

Currently own a TDV8 Sport and love it. We were in the local LR dealers with the view of changing to a new RRS

when we spotted the Westminister (and more to the point the cracking deals on them)

I know these are outgoing model to make way for the 405 but still Cool

The story so far is to arrange a test drive (in both((ours is a2007)), iron out the finance and take it from there

Thumbs Up Kiel

Hi All,

I'd like to introduce myself, I'm Jordan from the Range Rover tuning brand Overfinch.

Some of you may know me from the RRSport forum; as both a sponsor and a full fat RR enthusiast, I have decided to finally create this member profile to represent Overfinch on the fullfatrr side of things.

Please feel free to contact me regarding any Overfinch related queries you may have and I'll be happy to provide you with advice and further information.

I'll also keep you updated on our special offers for forum members, new product launches and any other events I feel you may be interested in.

I look forward to hearing from you and will endeavour to get back to you as quickly as I can!

Best,

Jordan Sloane

United Kingdom 2015 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

Hi All,

Have owned my Black TDV8 for just over a month now and wanted to properly introduce myself. I think i did before but that was pre ownership.. I used the forum to get background etc and found the place really useful and friendly. Have waited to post as i had issues with the car from day 1 mainly to do with the approved dealer selling me the car as an approved used but failing to tell me it had missing history Twisted Evil After several erm discussions the situation was rectified to my satisfaction eventually with them confirming and ultimately finding its full history. I will however never use said dealer again (who was not local to me) as felt i was taken for a mug a plot which ultimately back fired on them in terms of cost!

Any how have been a BMW man for a number of years. E39 5 series, E46 M3 (fantastic) then E60 M5. I loved my M3 and really didnt want to part with her but had her nearly 5 years and really had to bite the bullet so threw her in for an M5. Performance wise that was an absolute weapon but left me cold. I couldnt drive it the way it needed to be driven ie very fast on normal roads as it only really thrilled at high revs. Unfortunately by the time you hit those high revs the speed limit was far behind so after attending a speed awareness course Whistle i thought enough was enough.

I have hankered after a FFRR for a number of years and had been on the look for a SC whilst i had the M3 but just couldnt find one that ticked all of my boxes so got bored and jumped into the M5. Now whilst that cost me a few quid short term as i only kept it 6 months! it probably saved me long term as i drove a diesel D4 and thought actually the diesel is the way to go sensibly. This proved to be a great decision i have gone from getting 11mpg around town to a staggering 20 Razz

Sorry for the long winded intro now for the car. What a machine i love it. It isnt as well built or as advanced as my BMWs but what the hell its a Range Rover and thats the point. I no longer fly around like an idiot i just waft along in my 2 tonne barge looking down on all around ha ha!

"the daddy" is Java Black with sand leather with black piping, grand black wood etc with sc lights grills and vents however it was adorned with nasty chrome bits such as handles and scratch plates (why!) bonnet grill and mirror caps which have been suitably removed, door handles now with black covers and bonnet grill due to be colour coded along with the sc side vents and sc grill. Also bought some full black mirror covers with crease from Powerful Uk. I have also purchased a very nice set of 22" genuine supersport alloys from Jordan (at a great price thanks!) which i know will divide opinion due to ride/flashiness but i love and i will keep the 09 style 19's for winters. Will post some pics when i have completed my changes next week.

thanks for reading

cheers

Hi Marc

New to the forum myself don't even have a FF yet.

But will do in about 3hrs 10 mins 32 secs but who's counting Razz

I too used to own an E46 M3 and loved it to bits the only other car that sticks in my head was my Ur quattro.

Presently drive a RRS TDV8 which is a damned fine car as well.

Did I say I a was changing to a FF ? In about 3hrs 8 mins 21 secs Thumbs Up

Gidday m8 from France

I'm not an ozzie but I just like saying gidday m8. I do live in France now, and am shopping for a fullfatrr, or so I think. I'm currently test driving one for a few days; 2003 td6, one-owner, some kind of dark metallic green.

The body roll (sway) in corners is a bit much. But I usually drive a Disco II td5 with ACE; i.e. no body roll to speak of. However the D2 is noisy, underpowered, and feels a bit twitchy in the twisty bits. I don't even let my wife drive it. But that's another thread, idntit? Reno, on assignment in France.
