Australia 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Bournville

G'day folks,

I'm on the look-out for an MY12 TDV8. preferably with an e-diff, to replace our MY10 3.0 D4, wanting a better ride on rougher country back-roads. I do my own vehicle maintenance and electronics don't faze me so don't expect too many heart-aches. Previous LRs have been a 2-door RRC, a 4-door (still around) and 2 manual TD5 D2s.

I look forward to learning about special tips and tricks with these later L322s and contributing to the forum.

Graeme

Austria 2004 Range Rover HSE Td6 Bonatti Grey

Hi,

I recently got an 04 RR HSE in beautiful Bonatti Grey. This is my first RR and I must say I'm pretty impressed so far! Unfortunately the car has some issues I have to sort out before I can truly enjoy it (oil leak, bushings) - more to come in the tech section.

I'm used to working on my cars and I'm pretty confident that I'll be able to sort out the issues with the help from this forum.

Cheers,
Stefan

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Rimini Red
New member - hello

Hi everyone,

I have recently, Thursday, taken ownership of an October 2003 Range Rover bought in Northern Germany and driven back to the UK. I am off to Cameroon in a couple of months to live there for two years and this is where the vehicle will be going next month.

I need some advice on how to start a topic because after a really smooth journey back and a few miles driven in the UK, I now have warning messages for "inactive air suspension" and "HDC inactive". I halos have Amber indicators for braking system and ABS system. There is no grinding when I brake and the air suspension was working fine yesterday and this morning but bemusedly, the above problems materialised when I visited the Land Rover dealership in Maidstone!

I live in Sittingbourne and would like to know of any specialists near me who can help diagnose the problem. I searched inactive suspension posts on the forum and read a couple. They were reassuring but I still need to get the problem fixed on my vehicle. Mine is a Vogue petrol with BMW 4.4 V8 and so far I love it!

Grateful for any assistance or replies.

Regards,

Steve

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black

Hi All,

I'm Ken from Cornwall, call me "Dreckly"....!?! Very Happy Sorry a daft Cornish joke....!
(meaning of the Cornish word "Dreckly" : like the Spanish "Manana", but without the sense of urgency!?!)

After 33 years of messing around with Classic Minis and other uncomfortable forms of transport I've gone mad and bought my first Rangey, a 4.2 S/C '06 MY and yes it does have a tow bar for towing the fuel bowser!?

What a wonderful car....I should have bought one years ago!!

Please be gentle, I'm not that good with forums. Confused
Cheers,
Ken
