United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Orkney Grey

Welcome Steve. Instead of asking loads of questions I would particularly recommend using the search function as it's very rare to find any problems or advice that have not already been addressed in previous years. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Hello - Ex-RRC Owner looking to get a L322 or 405.

Hi Gents, Ladies and the rest of us!

My names Will and Im fat - Hence the user name. I’ve also been using this ‘handle’ on other car forums for nearly 15 years so like the continuity.

I’m an ex Range Rover Classic (4.0 VCool owner looking for a L322 or L405.

I’m a Superyacht engineer, working half the year and plan to maintaining the car myself so finally signing up to start asking qu’s and getting more involved.

I do a lot of towing and have another daily driver (VW Tiguan) so thinking towards the higher spec, diesel variants of either beasty. Probably sticking to diesel though unless any further research points me towards the petrol ones.

Thanks and stay safe during these high fuel prices

Hello - just acquired my dream vehicle today

Hi Everyone, I acquired my dream TDV8 4.4 today. It’s a Feb 2012 so one of the last off the line ( perhaps the last 5% ?) I’ve aspired to a FFRR for many many years having previously owned ( in reverse chronological order ) :

*RR Evoque Prestige ( RR brand, getting close but not quite the full Monty )
*Audi A6 Avant 2.7 TDI ( an absolute trooper of a car but with touchy swirl flaps )
*Saab 95 2.2 TDI ( a true donkey complete with leather arm chair seats )
*Honda Accord 2.0 SE ( bomb proof Japanese reliability )
*Ford Escort 1.8 ( embarrassed about that but there was a good reason at the time )
*BMW 520i ( acquired from the forma CEO of Tate & Lyle for an absolute song just after his retirement )
*Peugeot 309 ( ?.? ) (it was so bad I’ve forgotten the model but it was a gift so can’t complain)
*Austin Allegro Estate ( BEFORE YOU LAUGH; this was a great car for lumping my windsurfing kit about and the square steering wheel had gone BEFORE I owned it )
*Triumph Dolomite 1850 TC ( with overdrive box ) in purple ( no less )
*Triumph Dolomite 1850 TC ( without overdrive but with a great engine that got put into the purple one above after an unplanned overly exuberant detour into a West Country farmers hedge )

Passed test driving the instructors Mini Metro
Learned in Mum’s Hillman Imp
Developed road sense on an Yamaha FS1E 50cc moped (unrestricted & with pedals circa 42 MPH max speed. Still have bikes but that’s another story ). TDV8 4.4 2012

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Java Black

Hello to all fellow Range Rover enthusiasts, I just love them although as described by a fellow enthusiast recently
“It’s like owning a boat!1 there is always something that needs attention”
I have an issue with a 2007 vogue tdv8 and I’m reaching out for help if possible?
I’m searching for a part that seems semi impossible to get its PMV500250 or PMV500200 I’ve tried 30plus places with
No joy 😕
Land Rover are quoting the 1st Dec and I really need the car back on the road sooner.
The part is a coolant rail and I’ve tried dealers/parts stockists and scrap yards.
The existing unit has pin holed and makes the car not fit to drive.
Any helpful suggestions gratefully received.

Hello everyone, just wanted to thank you all for such a valuable mine of information on all things FFRR.
Have had a deposit on L460 since last June (the wait is killing me) but this site has been amazing for insights, specs etc.

Test drove drove new L460 demonstrator today which may have been a rookie error as I now know what I’m missing and the waiting pains are now amplified! The car is like witchcraft

United States 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black
Just acquired an abandoned '08 RR Sport Supercharged

Bought at auction an abandoned 2008 Ranger Rover Sport Supercharged. it has been sitting for awhile and there was no key so I am joining the RR club with a blindfold on. Cool
I've ordered the key from the UK (currently in the Fertile Crescent) so it will be about 10-14 days before it reaches me. I believe I will have to take it to the local dealer to get I programmed.
Other than the fact that parts and labor can be expensive is about all I know.
I have a 07 LR3 but I am aware that is a totally different animal. I'll be posting questions as a complete noob asking for some help, tips and directions along the way. Anyone who is feeling charitable please give me a shout out.

Scotland 2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Tonga Green
Hello to all.

Good morning all. I'm relatively new to RRFF ownership , having got myself a 2006 MY vogue TD6 late last year, would've loved a petrol version, but this one will do me fine for now. Slowly going through it and getting jobs done, arches, sills and tailgate all sorted out and some minor mechanical work done. I'm using it for daughters horse trailer duties but want to hop over the border into Cumbria and dabble in some green laning. Been reading a lot on the forum and finding it an incredible source so thought it about time to actually join and get involved.

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 V8 Buckingham Blue

Hello everybody,

Lurked here for a while but thought best to introduce myself .

I’ve got a 2011 TDV8 4.4 Vogue SE in Buckingham Blue . Just turned 100k on the clock.

Bought it just over 18 m ago.

It’s the family motor and does the job splendidly.

Hope to be able to contribute to the forum which has been invaluable to me to date .

Cheers!

Hello all

Just bought a 2012 Westminster TDV8.
My first range rover, 66K miles.
So far this weekend, put it on my ramp, rust proofed, also taken sill covers off and proof rear of sills.
Overall, really pleased with the truck.
Ordered ZF sump filter and fluid to swapout next weekend.
