A8 or 730

Been looking at a 4.2tdi audi a8 Quattro or a bmw 7 series.
Anyone got/had one and are they any good ?
Was just reading the stats for the a8
0-60 5.5seconds
350bhp
800Nm of torque
Shocked

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 V8 Stornoway Grey

Check the specs on a Porsche Cayenne S V8 Diesel to see how it compares first.

I must admit to being slightly bias as I'm in the process of buying one. Very Happy

I've got an A8 3.0 V6 and it's fabulous. It's also for sale if you're interested:

This new model is so much lighter than the older model; I found that the 3.0 engine in the old one was underpowered but in this one it's extremely acceptable... Very Happy Graham

Hi I am looking at a 2004 model but yours is a great buy but not in my budget
The one I am going to see is a 3.7 petrol Quattro with 115,000 miles.
Looks the part but we shall see what happens when i view it later Smile

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

I would say Audi rather than the BMW.

Just subjectively its a better looking car, where as the 7 has always looked like a glorified 3 series to me. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

4 grand. Blimey. Stonking value.

They're understated but fabulous cars. Check for a perfect service history, it's very complicated... Graham

Fair enough... mine's faultless by the way... Smile

There's loads of A8s out there. I found a V10 S8 earlier today for only £12k. Graham

2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

I had an A8 Quattro sport tdi and it was stunning, so much car for the money and 4wd for wet grass and tin tent towing.....wouldn't consider a 7series in the same breath tbh.
