Won't start on petrol

Hi I have a 2002 on lpg and the switch won't turn to petrol from gas.

Last week I ran out of petrol completely and the car started and ran on gas no problem, the next day I filled up with petrol and everything seemed ok.
On a trip back home the next day I ran out of gas and it automatically runs on petrol but the switch keeps beeping and flashing, I have pressed the switch but nothing happens.
Now when I have both tanks topped up but when I start it starts on gas straight away.
It did it at 4am this morning from cold.
Thankfully the beeping has stopped.
Is there a reset or diy fix.

Ta

sounds like you need a pro to have a look really.
why not take it in to whoever does your LPG service?

Only had it six weeks.
Need to find a good garage near Wigan. Seen an advert for a guy in Adlington
http://www.adlingtonmot.co.uk/
Anyone used them and have feedback

a normal garage won't help, you need an LPG specialist.
what system do you have fitted? you can then check out the importers site for local support

They don't like running out of petrol as the pump will continue to run dry and eventually overheat, at least that's what happened in my Classic a few years back Embarassed think bout it: in a normal set up, the car stops when the go-go juice stops a comin... So the pump stops

Not so when it s on LPG Big Cry
