Electric Thermostat Circuit Fault

Hi,
My 2002 L322 is showing the above fault code, (shows as 48C on my IIDTOOL) with no other indication (CEL ETC) I have searched the WIKI and fault code list to no avail, anyone know what I need to look at to rectify it ??
Any assistance appreciated

Think there is a vid on youtube showing someone changing the thermostat on the 4.4 M62 .... Didnt look too hard to do
