United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black
SC going in for a check

My engine light was reset , but came back on a few days later..
The garage is a land rover specialist, mainly defenders... He builds custom ones for overland trips etc
He is local and I know him , so he did reset as a favour

Anyway ... Going back in this evening to have fault codes read, and problem resolved.

I have owned the car for 7 months, bought from a non MD and though they said it was serviced ,
I doubt it was anything much if it all Rolling Eyes
Book has stamps from MDs, but can you trust it's all been done!?

Half the hassle is not having car for a day or so, so any advice on what else is worth looking at whilst it's in there?
Has anyone had anything done , like spark plugs ?, which aren't due, but seen a benefit....
I plan on keeping car for a few years get.

He won't stitch me up... Whistle
(2006 SC with 64k miles) Alcohol and eBay is never a good mix

when I had mine done a couple of weeks ago I got them to do the # 2 and next time it'll be the transfer and rear diff oil, perhaps the axle oil as well. I've been thinking about the sparks as well.

If you're unsure as to the MD services - phone them.
I've found them to be very helpful before buying the two I've had.
They've even sent copies of all invoices -

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?
