2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 V8 Orkney Grey
Williams Manchester

Had my MY12 Westminster serviced by Williams in Manchester on Monday. First service. Also had an armature fitted with 13 pin electrics and coding.

Whilst there, I asked to have the lights on all of the time when the light switch was on the auto setting. Which was done.

I didn't realise that would mean , on the MY12, that this would mean the xenons on all of the time rather than just the LEDs. My mistake.

So I called Chris at Williams's service desk. Turns out the only way to achieve what I asked for is the "Scandanavian" daylight running light setting. Which after I, finally, do some research, means having the xenons on all of the time.

So I call Chris this morning. No problem, bring it back in and they'll change it back. I took it back in this afternoon and and it was changed back to standard setting whilst I waited. When finished, I asked Chris what I owed, and he said nothing.

Great service. Thanks very much indeed. One happy customer.

Re: Williams Manchester

I had my D3 from Williams and the pre sales and handover was excellent, the post sales and servicing was not so good and in the end I had the servicing done elsewhere.

I thought all new cars had to have DRL by euro law, but its optional on existing models.

Well they don't - new models manufactured after 2011 do.
