I've asked this before but can't remember what the answer was. As you can see the armrest trim needs repositioning and sticking back in place, whilst not a big task it would be made possible/much easier if I could remove the armrest but I can't see how.

Thanks Mick, I think it does, not that clear, but it looks like remove tension straps from underneath then two torx from under the lower seat back panel, remove that panel and then I can get at the allen nut holding the arm on. Then Roberts your mothers brother.

Seat out is a possibility but you might be able to undo the the seat and prop it up to get good enough access . I took the seats out when I replace the drivers back Peltier cell and regretted it so the next time when I changed my BPM I just reclined the back a bit so I could lift it higher and propped it up then disconnected the battery to stop any airbag faults and did the work . 2008 MY Supercharged
