wire it to an ignition live so it switches on when you start the car, quality is ok if viewed in 640x480 anything bigger then it pixelates but dont know re the 1080p version..
the videos get over written every 15 minutes so you dont need a big card .. ... - .- -.

I have a roadhawk ride for when i ride the motorbike, and the same company produce these: http://www.roadhawk.co.uk/roadhawk-hd/prod_30.html

you tube has loads of reviews: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_quer...e8kHl5sWX0

might invest myself as not only does it record on a loop, it will store footage permanently at your request or if g force suddenly increases, it records speed and gps coordinates and your route, they may even ship world wide 2007 3.0L Diesel VW Touareg SE

I have found this and installed it on my S3. Now I just need a bracket/holder that allows the phone to look over the dash through the screen Smile MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

I don't like the suction cups, they won't stick on the dash and I really don't want them on the windscreen here with the sun and heat.

I got a tip to look at brodit.se (via this post http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic19780.html) and I have been looking at that a bit. Should be possible to find something here (will cost more than the camera system when I have got all the gubbins to look over the dash, by the looks of it Smile ). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

2016 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey

I've just installed a Blackvue HD camera in mine - very discreet on the windscreen - about the size of a fat packet of polo's behind the rear view mirror. It cost about £150 on a well known auction site.
Came with an 8gb card which includes the laptop viewing software - can tag vehicle speed and GPS locations on to your clip as well. I do a 4 hour M4 run twice a week and the card will easily store a full trip plus several days of short journeys broken into 2 min clips. The HD is really good quality - you can read other numberplates with ease even in the dark and the blackvue software seems to be really good and user friendly - I like the fact that there is a timeline selector which you can just run the video from the time you want.

My only issue is that it runs constantly as its on the cigerette lighter which is always live - fortunately the previous owner had put a tom-tom charger lead on the dashboard wired to a 12v aux outlet behind the drivers side dash end panel - problem solved - blackvue comes on and off with the ignition.

i'll post a picture of the install and a screenshot of the image if anyone is interested Current Fleet:-

I run a BlackVue too and I'm very pleased with it. The cheaper cameras are nothing like the resolution they claim.

i've just sold my 720p jobby which is shown in the pics above and plan to get another smaller one , possibly a 1080p unit..i cant justify paying blackvue prices as i've seen these £35 1080p videos clips on youtube and they are good enough for me.. ... - .- -.
