Hi everyone. I'm having the auto gearbox oil and filter changed in the near future. I've sourced the 7045e fluid from Fleet Factors @ £72 for 20L inc VAT. I'm buying 20L so it can have a couple of flushes.

Currently where is the best place to obtain the correct filter for a 2006 TD6. I've seen a few on Ebay but I want to buy the right one from the right source with the gasket.

I've now found two types on the web; one appears to be a metal pan, the other one a plastic type pan. I've tried to post the photos but have failed miserably. The metal one is a Britpart item and I'm pretty sure it's the correct one.
However if anyone has the ability to post a photo of the correct filter for a TD6 GM auto gearbox, I'd be very grateful.
I've read the Wiki re the filter and fluid change on a TD6 gearbox but the filter pan looks like a plastic item.

Have you tried Dan @ Duckworths?
Won't be cheap which is why I worry about using Britpart etc.
You should be able to get a complete kit from him including the OEM Filtran filter.
If I'm not mistaken you also need gasket and new nuts.

I think you are seeing pans for the ZF6 0r ZF8HP26

You need THE500031 filter with gasket for the GM 5 Paul Redding
