Hi chaps,

i am looking at a disco 4 commercial tomorrow (dont fret the ff is staying) it currently doesn't have a tow pack on it, am i correct in assuming that all i need to source would be the Electric pack and the detachable part of the bar, in that the reciever is integral to the rear subframe/crash member and comes as part of the car.

any ideas on here before i go off and ask the chaps on DISCO4.  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Will go off and price it up. Presume there will be a few around on the bay of fleas, do you happen to know if a disco4 ball and disco 3 ball are the same, may broaden the search. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Yes, D3 and D4 towballs are the same; the electrics however are not.

Worth a look on DISCO3/4 for sale forum too, they do come up fairly regularly.

Check the height of the ball. The standard tow hook is in a lot of cases too low.

But on upside ive now got a tow bar for the new disco.

And also, booked in for wiring at hunters, they have quoted me 139.40 fitted! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Not a bad price for fitted electrics, usually way more than that.

Local indy priced me £250. Ill wait and see if there is any sweating and wriggling on the dealers part on thursday. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
