A predictable twist. As of this morning, my LR dealer has not been told of any permanent fix by the manufacturer. 2011 Vogue SE

Car now back from the dealer. There is NO permanent fix currently available to LR dealers and JLR have not given the dealer network a date as to when it will be. Info good as of 14.00 today. 2011 Vogue SE

Hope it doesn't take too long, as the audio dropouts are getting more and more frequent. It's starting to get a PITA, especially as I'm in the FF for three hours a day travelling to and from work!!

Been holding off on doing the 'USA Temp Fix', as I often use the telly at lunchtimes or when stuck in the carpark whilst SWMBO does her shopping!

Just as an aside...I got my Hybrid TV module off the Bay (second hand), to upgrade the old Analogue Module in the FFRR, so I wonder what the 'Fix' will be, i.e. 'over the air update' or a trip to the Stealers to have something fitted.

If it's a trip to the stealers... will they try to charge us for any kit that needs to be fitted? Whistle

Such a joke Censored

No wonder they can't build decent, reliable cars if they can't even buy a proper hybrid tuner.

As expected, the "approximately 2 weeks" comment by the nice bloke from JLR is now 3 weeks old and counting........ 2011 Vogue SE
