If its up and down motorways all day then yes it can but IMO the 2.7 seems bad in the LR's and god knows why. Its fine in the pugs and citroens with it fitted, and most jags IIRC.

Gaz i had a D4 HSE MY10 for 3/4months going all over the country in it and some lovely remote sites in literally the middle of a field. It cost more for the excess mileage on it than it did for the rental from SHB!
Then i had a D4 XS MY11 when someone shunted the rangey for 2 weeks.
Then another XS from another small shunt which took ages as they gave me an RRS initially(TDV8) that had 3 LRA callouts and then munched its engine.
Then the last one was a MY12/13 late last year when the rangey was waiting for work approval and then work being done after another shunt. That was an XS as well and the newer box in it felt loads better although the other ones with 6speed were all SDV6 as well they still shifted but the 8 speed was nice other than the stupid nob for it

And then there has been plenty of use on sites in some S models that were battered just around the sites/locations so didnt even get beyond 3rd gear most of the time but spending enough time sat in them 'working' wasnt easy  FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Drove a few before i saw this one, the last one didnt even run properly. This was the best i could find out there in my budget, of under 20k. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
