United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Buckingham Blue

On my first motorway run I had 34mpg indicated at a steady 50mph on the M1 in roadworks - but running super diesel.

Using standard diesel I had 26 mpg indicated over 1400 miles to Switzerland & back at a fairly constant 130kph - but I haven't worked out the actuals from the fuel bills yet !

Haven't done that for many years. It's not worth the disillusionment!! Laughing The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile

I was delaying in the vain hope that the fuel computer was being pessimistic - maybe I will delay a little longer with the actual calculations now Sad

If I run mine right down I can get 102 litres.

I assumed that was 100 in the tank (minus a little bit left) and the rest in the tube.

Only since I had the FFRR I found out that some petrol stations have the pumps set to switch off automatically once you get to 99 or 100 litres.

On long runs, with Cruise set at 70 I can get 33mpg

Normal weekly mpg to and from work (@ 200 miles a week, average speed 40mph, with mixed roads - rural, motorway, town) I get 26.5mpg

TD6 2002 (110,000miles on clock - still pulls like The Flying Scotsman) .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink
