United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover SE Td6 Zermatt Silver

Did you get stopped and weighed?

PS: Why has the slide out not got any windows?

Gaz

No, was back in the Eterniti factory to get some minor issues sorted and they weighed it then.

Slide out has a window in the rear, the kitchen is at the front of the slide out and has an external locker at the rear of the kitchen and the rear of the slide out has the headboard for the king size bed.

Australia 2009 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Atacama Sand

Hello All
We are now onto our third Rangie (a TDV8) and it is the best car we have ever owned. It tows out 2200kg Camper (with Solar, Water, Batteries and 80 litre of diesel) as if the trailer doesn't exist, both on and off road. Previously we had a TD6 it was good but not a patch on the TDV8.
Regards
Rod

I thought I should clarify the configuration. The Camper has twin 120ah deep cycle batteries, twin 80 litre water tanks, 4 x 20 litre Jerry Cans for Diesel, we carry a generator, food for at least 3 weeks. The van has a fully independent suspension and I carry two full-size spare wheels (one for the van and one for the car) when on-site the van looks like this set-up:

When you add all of this together the weight quickly totals up Very Happy

Towing is a dream. I had a remapped D3 that put 250bhp out and so the FFRR runs a similar size and output as standard, therefore I tried the car without and it was fine. I then however drove a friends TDV8 with a remap and Shocked there was a difference. His had done 100k and so I thought even with my engine covered 60k+ it'd be worth it. It isn't a JE remap, it's been done by a local firm who do the full spectrum of cars, commercials etc....very much worth it. Thumbs Up Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Nice one,my 02 v8 tows nicely with a 2.5 tonne box behind but every so often gets caught wanting in the wrong gear or wrong speed,,the tdv8 sounds like it makes easy work of it with all that low down torque

The best tow car I've ever had....

I've just come back from 3 weeks in France towing my 2000kg twin axle caravan with my TDV8 (JE Remap) and had to be very careful not to go too fast. It sailed up the steep autoroute hills in Northern France, staying in top gear at 70 MPH.

Love that Eterniti!
Have been considering swapping our Crusader Tempest for one of these, but thought I would leave it until any problems had been ironed out on the aerly models.

How have you found it quality and problems wise? 2017 Range Rover SDV8 Vogue SE

Sorry to hijack....how do you find your tempest ?? We looked at one last year but went with a Lunar Lexon 650, same layout as tempest with kids bunks and wider dinette. Really like ours tbh.....

Mate of mine picks up his 2nd attempt with Eterniti tomorrow morning, first van had a lot wrong and they built him a new one....you dont get that kind of service from the mainstream makers ! Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........
