Google chromecast

Has anyone bought this yet from the US?

Mine arrived today and apparently I need an app that's only available from the US iTunes Store...has anyone tried to install this app? If I try and change my iTunes country settings it then asks for an address and phone number and credit card details, etc.

Same problem if I try and download tunnel bear VPN which would effectively bypass the problem.
