2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Epsom Green
Which one ?

Hi bit of a quandary Question
The wife has decided that she would like to get a L322 2002/3/4 but my heart says it should be 4.4 V8 petrol,or with LPG
but my head is saying be sensible and go for the TD6
Any thoughts ?
Sorry it's a bit of an open ended question Whistle
The car will at first only be used weekends but I'm sure she will be using it every day once she has it and the convertible parked up for sunny days Laughing
Cheers
Lee & Trish

as you probably already know Lee ,there is a wealth of info on the forum and wiki and loads of advice about what to buy whether petrol or diesel..

but if you typically do short journeys and low miles per year then the petrol makes sense ..a diesel will give you more mpg's but they generally tend to have to be maintained more and they dont like short runs..

both are nice to drive and thats what you should do , experience both.. ... - .- -.

2005 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Tangiers Orange

leave the 4.4, and get the 4.2 supercharged. virtually same MPG, nearly 100 BHP more !

4.4 does sound good though !  RR Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange 4.2 V8 First edition

Hi. I got td6 simply because I use it 5 or 6 days a week for work etc, not very long journeys, about 22 miles, but if its for weekends only, gotta be a petrol i reckon. 2004 vogue

Switzerland 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

I've driven the 4.4 and have a TD6. I like my TD6 but the 4.4 is much nicer to drive.

The later TDV8's and Jag engined cars are much better cars though. For me it was either one of those or an early TD6.

I drive my 2004 4.4V8 touchscreen every day and love the V8 Growl especially with my K&N Air Filter woosh. I get 16.7MPG average mostly local. Try to get a touchscreen.

For local use it depends whether you want to pay more for power or less for great noise?
