hi everyone, could someone give me some further advice from you computer like brain re this tow bar stuff.....?

i want to be able to use a Thule easybase so i dont always need to use a roofbox as the car is so high..... its a base that sits on a tow bar, i am going to get one of cross members with the 2'' square hole.... i will then get the detachable tow bar

i guess the towing electrics to plug into the lights etc but do i need the trailer towing module?

any help appreciated

In short Yes. The module connects the electrics so if you use a tailboard with your Thule easybase for example, you would need the electrics.

If you are fitting any electrics at all you will need it. Genuine electrics are the easiest way to go as they are plug and play. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

i think that a tailboard is standard on these things (i am assuming that this is the lights etc)?

Yep Lights indicators etc, and of course the number plate.
