United Kingdom 2015 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Mariana Black

Mmm. I see I have to pick my words carefully on this forum Very Happy
When I said solid I didn't mean solid in terms of non-metallic (as for example Fuji White) I meant solid as opposed to a colour that could be described as a "hue" of another colour (Scotia, a hue of green, Aleutian a hue of blue if you take my drift) It matters not. I had in my mind the answer I gave on another FFRR forum - the same pictures I posted there on a thread for some reason look a little more like the real thing. http://www.rangerovers.net/forum/24-range-...rey-2.html
I have also been asked if Scotia is a feminine colour, a thin colour, a less brilliant colour. It just shows you how people see different aspects of colour. All I will say after seeing the 13 stage paint process last week at Solihull, every single colour gets the same treatment apart from one of 7 base colours (standardised from 31) and the final top colour prior to lacquering. A very impressive process and one I would recommend anyone seeing if you get the chance. MY15.5 SDV8 4.4 A/B FFRR Mariana/Ivory
Ten other FFRR since 2002 either traded in or taken back by JLR

wow, I see what you mean about other opinions. I love my Firenze red, partly because it is much less common, but think the Scotia looks good too. As to what the colour says about my genes/gender/tendencies/ego etc I really never gave it any thought. Too busy driving and enjoying it to worry. 2019 D5 HSE Lux SDV6 Indus
