Intravee install

I've been reading up on iPod connectivity and have decided to go with the Intravee, is it something you can DIY install fairly easily or does it need to go to a Car Audio specialist?.

You can deffo DIY. I did it, albeit there were a few challenges on the way! Very Happy

Once you've disconnected your CD changer (the only fiddly bit) and removed it from the glove-box (not 100% necessary, but it does leave you with a lot of extra room in the glove-box), attach the 2 cables to the Intravee, attach the Intravee to the Alpine KC420i Ipod Adapter (which you will need to play your Ipod), then attach Alpine to Ipod and off you go! But you may wish to read this link about my trials and tribulations, especially with software!

If you do a search on the forum I'm sure you'll find loads more info.

PS - If you haven't already bought the Intravee/Alpine kit yet, I might be selling mine shortly (I'll be stripping it out of my FFRR before I part/ex it with a local dealer!). Let me know if you're interested and I'll confirm it it's going to be up for grabs in the next week or so. Cheers

Greg
