United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Mariana Black
Detail by Harvey123

I decided earlier in the week having seen the images from Gaz after Harvey123 performed a detail on one of his cars to get mine looked at.

Drove the 85 miles over to his in an easy drive this morning. Met up outside his house where he set to work. First wash a rinse and snow foam. then a rinse and a dry. (my sone and i wondered off to the park for this bit so it was done when we got back)

Out came the DA polisher and he set to work removing the light scratches and swirls marks I had. Although the car was in relatively good shape anyway it needed some attention here.

All I can say is what a terrific job he did. Finally finishing off with a seal so it should be protected for a few months at least. I only had my iPhone so the pics aren;t great quality but to say I was pleased as punch was an under statement. It looks marvellous.

Many Thanks Harvey.. Great to see you again and a stunning job you did. Very pleased mate..!!

I would highly recommend you to anyone of the forum who's full fat is need of some TLC.

Sure am. I didn't rain on the way home which was a bonus so she was all tucked up in the garage last night and still looks clean this morning despite the 85 miles trip home..!

Thanks again! Ash

Did I read somewhere that you can buy wheel nut and/ or locking wheel nut covers?

Aren't they the wrong nuts for the wheels ?

I thought it was only the pre-05 nuts that rusted.

With those wheels you should have the later nuts anyway and they are silver.

If you're running the wrong nut's then they are likely to shake themselves loose !

I must assume from the comments that the wheels are post 05..? The car is pre 05 (54 plate) Ash

Yep - those are ~2010 wheels - That assumes the wheels are genuine & not copies......

The thread for the nuts is the same, but the later wheels had a larger bore - so the old nuts fit, they're just too loose

Thread here

Basically you need the nuts to match the wheels & not the car.
