Off the shelf Halo/ LED Headlights

This pair of headlights is currently for sale on EBay for £560. Ad says they were done by "iKONIC Styling".

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RANGE-ROVER-L322...1e8073e750

Is this good value or not and does anyone know anything about iKONIC (all I can find is that they sell prestige high end cars)?

Thanks.

I have adaptive and cornering lights Stan.. I'm not in a rush to buy this particular set but I thought it looked like a proper job and wondered what others on the forum thought.

Quite happy with the front end of the car as is but do think Halo/ LED/ DRL at the front end would freshen it up a tad and am keen to know if I could do it all myself and/ or if there are reputable firms who could do it.

Have you done/ got any intentions of doing an idiots guide/ how to re your front fogs?

Thanks Thumbs Up

there's a few options you have ,

get an IIDTool with which you can activate the main beams to 40 or 60% power to come on ..this would be best with 'white' halogen bulbs..

or, stick smds in the fog lights wired to a drl switch, some info here on that, http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic10160.html?highlight=drl
i also contemplated putting halos in the fogs but that would have meant taking them apart to fit them and although i brought some halos i chickened out from doing it.

or get some converted headlight units like those in your link.. ... - .- -.

i think they are way over priced, it only takes about a hour tops to take a light apart, the led lighting wont come to more the 20 pounds, ask for some close up pics with the lights on and off. wont be hard to see what they have used. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.
