Hi Mike - can you let me know how easy you find getting the alternator in and out and what needs to be removed as I need to change the bearings on my alternator 56 TDV8 Vogue SE

Of course I can, hoping to do it this week. I sourced a Denso unit from Andrew page for £170 + Vat & £18.50 + Vat for a new belt, which amazes me at nearly 2.5 metres. I also decided that at that price & as its not going to be a five minute job to change to not repair it, but it should then last the rest of the time I own the car. Worse things happen at sea! Well thats what swmbo said when WRENS came to sea!!! |
