Interesting reading is the supplement on the HEV RR on the Topix website in the owner section. A particular highlight is:

"Note: In extreme cold climate conditions, store the vehicle in a warmer area to protect it from the environment."

And additionally, if the HEV system stops working, so does the a/c!

I was thinking of getting one but I don't think it seems particularly resilient/reliable!
