My god, where are you getting the tyres? (or have you got big alloys?)
For my Td6 they are about £500 to £600 for a set of four good ones and I'm still on them after 30k miles.

This FFRR (my first) is turning out to be cheaper to keep on the road than either of my Defenders I bought new.

Mick if its any consulation, your RFL is CHEAP - mine is almost double that and thats diesel

£435 for 12 months rate. £239 for 6 months - all FFRR are the same if registered after 2006 - think it was March 06

Yes, all Landrovers other than the manual freelander come under that high taxation class I believe since March 2006.

Mines is in today for Inspection 1 service and paying £314 at a stealer.
