just had a result.

I have had a black grille for a while, and thought i would put the car back to how it came with a brunel surround.

So i bought a copy grille of of the internet, the mesh isn't the best, as its painted not chromed, so i thought i would have a go at painting the black one...... as its gen LR.

found the paint code on here and on the computer at halfrauds, tried to mix it up but the machine wasn't filling the aerosols properly, only put 2/3 of the paint in the can, chap said i could have that one gratis as it was only going in the bin!

tried again......

same result. Another free can Easily enough to paint the grille surround! All masked up and underway. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I found it tricky due to masking tape not sticking and had to retouch inner edges .Post some pics when done!  Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

Sussed the masking!

Applied the tape over the line then cut it with a fresh stanley blade to shape, worked a treat!
