Yeah, that's why they're known as S*itpart. Impossible to deal with, very questionable quality with a lot of their parts, and customer service worse than the average Indian call centre.

I have to agree with the others, this appears to reflect badly on Gap, but I've had nothing but fantastic service from Patrick there, who always responds super quick with a helpful response.

^^^ Exactly. I've been dealing with Patrick for about a week and he has been helpful above and beyond anything I've ever experienced. The product is good, GAP are good. Quite why they chose S*itpart as their route to market is unknown to us, but they have no other UK presence.

there have been posts on the forum indicating that britparts are only distributors and that the IIDTool can only be brought from a dealer/ebay...

I've heard numerous stories about the quality of the products they sell and that has been enough for me not to buy from them |

I chose to use the rather faceless, but reliable Craddocks to order mine after the recommended Britpart dealer I was directed to had no idea what I was trying to buy..... Land Rover Addict

Had a similar experience from Britpart here in Aus. Thought at the time that they were the only ones to get the IID tool through, so sent a request to them. Took them a while - and a nudge from GAP to have them contact me. I asked for a price and availability. They got back to me with a price of $750+ GST - so $825 all up! (AUD). When I asked about availability they said 4 to 6 weeks from order. If I wanted it quicker, then I would have to pay $40 more for delivery. I ended up getting one from the UK from fleabay for around half that...
