The Tungsten alloys just look that little bit different though, I saw a Firenze Red AB a while back with them and the alloys really caught my eye, they drew me in.... THE INVENTOR OF THE TERM "FULL-FAT RANGE ROVER" :

The Tugsten/Anthracite alloys are really beautiful to look at but I clean my car twice a week (A bit mad) and I need the wheels to look very clean and my mind turns the colour into dirty....

This just shows how subjective it all is.

Who's going to purchase a 'green' Range Rover?

Someone who's traditional or modern, attention seeking or conservative. Image is everything and all that, so build the vehicle to the spec of the potential purchaser - or build it for you?

Putting on Silver V-Spokes tomorrow. Have also added Giverny door handle covers, Giverny Half Covers (Mirrors) and had a rear panel repainted. Pictures tomorrow to see who likes the silver version against the Anthracite. Thus: http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic22568.html Thumbs Up

OK so pretty much finished with my 2012 look Giverny Green V8. Wheels have been replaced with Silver versions and Giverny Half Caps and Door Handle Covers added. I really like the look which other than colour is now the same as my previous Cairns Blue project:

Smart car. Silver wheels very nice and dare I say a tad more compatible with OCD owners Wink

Question:
In order to have the mirror casing coded half caps, do you need to change the whole outer mirror (if not, do you buy coded caps or have the plastic black painted)?

Thanks.

Thumbs Up

OCD Moi? Laughing

You buy Half Caps in your body colour or get undercoated and then painted if not available. They stick on with 3M tape.

PS: Bright New Silver Wheels make the whole car appear BRAND NEW. I think our brains associate new Clean looking wheels with new cars....

The colour coding on this car looks fantastic, Gary - really brings it up to date. Good effort !

Have you done many dark coloured cars with the colour coded handles ? - I'm umming & arring doing mine, but my car is Buckingham blue . . .

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?
